The building that Freckles Gourmet BBQ occupies today turns 100 next year! In anticipation of this centennial birthday, Freckles will be featuring memories from the past – including many, many historical photos and artifacts.
Enjoy a bit of history as you dine in Freckles large, spacious dining room in downtown Republic on Clark Avenue. The structure survived a few of the downtown fires that racked early Republic and has housed several prominent businesses over the ages. Historical photos will be available both for viewing and for purchasing – for those that want to bring a bit of our rich, gold-rush era history home with them.
