Its that time of year again! The Ferry County Fair, scheduled for September 2nd – 4th in 2016, is just around the corner.
This September, visit the Exhibit Hall at the Ferry County Fairgrounds to see the vegetables, flowers, baked goods and more that our resourceful county has to offer. Or, take a stroll across the way to see the livestock exhibits – rabbits, pigs, cows, goats and whatever else you can imagine!
But perhaps the most popular attractions are the horse races in the arena… or is it the live music? You’ll have to find out for yourself this September – we hope to see you there!
Ferry County Fair Carousel
A little about the carousel: The Ferry County Fair Merry-Go-Round has been a part of the Ferry County fair since 1958, when a group of local ranchers co-signed a loan for $2,000 to purchase it in Tacoma. It arrived in Republic in the back of a wheat truck and, to this day, is one of the main attractions at the fair each Labor Day weekend.
