Just an hour north of Republic, across the Midway, British Columbia, Canada border, Greenwood, BC is having their annual Founder’s Day Parade on July 13!
Perfect for the whole family, the parade route leads the wa
y to Lion’s Park festivities, big tree shade, entertainment, food, cold ones, music and vendors in the heart of Boundary Country. Dabble in favorite fun and stories while becoming a gold and gem prospector! Stroll into Nikkei Legacy Park, adjacent and discover Nikkei, on a wander up Copper Street. Explore and visit their municipal pool for a refreshing dip!
Endless, respectful serene beauty, flat-out invigorating off-road trails, entices your wheels, hiking boots, walking sticks and bicycles when you visit Greenwood. A jaw-dropping magical moonscape surrounded by nature’s best, invites you to explore.
For the parade, they suggest bringing a park blanket or chairs, camera, bathing suit, sun shades, hat and perhaps a gold pan.
